"We ordered a 1 ton pallet for our narrow private road ,which can get iced up after snow, and it arrived in an 18 ton truck which could not manoeuvre easily. We managed but with nowhere he could turn, the competent driver had to reverse a mile back down the road. Hats off to him. I thought that as a heavier dustcart can turn in our road, we would be ok. However I learnt that dust carts can steer at the back too. Be warned if space is tight."
